"
I stumble and I fall, your time is on my side
Don't make sense of it all, despite my foolish pride
It's got me on my knees, tearin' up my heart
I'm shakin' at my bones, tearin' me apart
When I can't get close to you
I come undone, I come undone
Come undone, babe, I come undone
Time will take its toll, time can break your heart
And if I had the chance, we'd never have to part
Took my only flame, took my one desire
Threw it all away when jumping in the fire
I can't get close to you
I come undone, come undone
Come undone, babe, I come undone
When the day is done I lay me down to rest
Everyone will see that I loved you the best
When all is said and done here simple and explain
And if I have the chance I'll do it all again
But I can't get close to you
I come undone, I come undone
Come undone, babe, I come undone
I'm not scared of the dark though you tangle and tease me
But worse than your bark you said you'd never leave me
The devil make everybody, don't please believe me
Oh love of my life, won't you let me down easy?
Undone, I come undone
Come undone, babe, I come undone
I come undone, I come undone
Come undone, babe, I come undone

Hoodoo Gurus "Come anytime"
"
What is it you want from me?
There isn't much I will not do.
If it's only company
You know, I might need that too.
Won't you
Come anytime - I'm a man of leisure,
Come anytime, I await your pleasure.
There's nothing new beneath the sun
We've butchered every sacred cow
Don't tell me about all the things you might have done
Just tell me what are you doing now - right now.
Come anytime, I won't give you pressure
Come anytime - I can wait forever
And if you can't make up your mind
We could make it up together.
Things like this happen every day
Whatever happens, it's O.K.
Why be afraid when we've got it made -
I'll never ask you to explain.
What is it you want from me?
You won't shock me easily.
Maybe it's your heart's desire,
Maybe it's your wildest dream,
Maybe I'm a gun-for-hire but,
Baby, don't we make quite a team, Don't we?
Don't we?
Come anytime (you're so inclined) I won't give you trouble
Come anytime (you're going blind) or you're seeing double
And I have never been the kind who'd want to
Burst your bubble.
Come anytime.
What is it you want from me?

Lately more or less I'm feeling less incomplete
I got no direction so I follow my feet
When I think on everything my heart skips a beat
Lately, lately
It'll come cleaning the wash know that much is true
You cannot forsee that this will happen to you
Best to sit and wait until the sun's breaking through
Lately, lately
Lately you've talking and you don't make no sense
And from what you say she's got your back to the fence
And from what I see it's hard for you to find strength
Lately, lately
What you need, what's the hurry
Men are cruel and people are unkind
What's the fear, what's the worry
Move forward now and leave the past behind
You could waste your whole life flew be a sleepy jump
Choose your favorite boys and on the way to get gone
Is this what you're thinkin' then I've got to move on
Lately, lately
Lately, lately
What you need, what's the hurry
Men are cruel and people are unkind
What you need, what's the worry

Bells for you and bells for me a beautiful thing
Been a long time coming seen my ship will come in

Peter Murphy "Strange kind of love"
"
A strange kind of love
A strange kind of feeling
Swims through your eyes
And like the doors
To a wide vast dominion
They open to your prise
This is no terror ground
Or place for the rage
No broken hearts
White wash lies
Just a taste for the truth
Perfect taste choice and meaning
A look into your eyes
Blind to the gemstone alone
A smile from a frown circles round
Should he stay or should he go
Let him shout a rage so strong
A rage that knows no right or wrong
And take a little piece of you
There is no middle ground
Or that's how it seems
For us to walk or to take
Instead we tumble down
Either side left or right
To love or to hate
A strange kind of love
A strange kind of feeling
Swims through your eyes
And like the doors
To a wide vast dominion
They open to your prise
This is no terror ground

The Chameleons "Looking inwardly"
">
I delve into myself ceaselessly
But I rarely see
What I want to see
Embracing the future
Forgetting the past
Loves lost and misfortune
The chaos and the crass
I'm wary of you
But you're oblivious to me
I'm chained to your ego
And there isn't a key
I play with emotions
But never my own
Don't you recognize me
Try looking inwardly
But you won't see me
Such a strange situation
As I wallow in waste
That such a trivial victory
Could put a smile on your face
Using me as the scapegoat
For what you want to believe
So I'll just bow out politely
And tip my cap as I leave
Comme ci comme ca
My eyes are wide open
Yours are closed
It's time you realised
I'm a part of you
Look inwardly
Don't bleed for me
Look to yourself.

Ensueños
"Ensueños"
Yo voy soñando caminos
de la tarde. ¡Las colinas
doradas, los verdes pinos,
las polvorientas encinas!
¿Adónde el camino irá?
Yo voy cantando, viajero
a lo largo del sendero...
-La tarde cayendo está-.
«En el corazón tenía
la espina de una pasión;
logré arrancármela un día:
ya no siento el corazón.»
de la tarde. ¡Las colinas
doradas, los verdes pinos,
las polvorientas encinas!
¿Adónde el camino irá?
Yo voy cantando, viajero
a lo largo del sendero...
-La tarde cayendo está-.
«En el corazón tenía
la espina de una pasión;
logré arrancármela un día:
ya no siento el corazón.»
Y todo el campo un momento
se queda, mudo y sombrío,
meditando. Suena el viento
en los álamos del río.
se queda, mudo y sombrío,
meditando. Suena el viento
en los álamos del río.
La tarde más se obscurece;
y el camino que serpea
y débilmente blanquea,
se enturbia y desaparece.
y el camino que serpea
y débilmente blanquea,
se enturbia y desaparece.
Mi cantar vuelve a plañir:
«Aguda espina dorada,
quién te pudiera sentir
en el corazón clavada».
«Aguda espina dorada,
quién te pudiera sentir
en el corazón clavada».

Ausencia
Habré de levantar la vasta vida
que aún ahora es tu
espejo:
cada mañana habré de
reconstruirla.
Desde que te
alejaste,
cuántos lugares se han
tornado vanos
y sin sentido,
iguales
a luces en el
día.
Tardes que fueron nicho de
tu imagen,
músicas en que siempre me
aguardabas,
palabras de aquel
tiempo,
yo tendré que quebrarlas
con mis manos.
¿En qué hondonada
esconderé mi alma
para que no vea tu
ausencia
que como un sol terrible,
sin ocaso,
brilla definitiva y
despiadada?
Tu ausencia me
rodea
como la cuerda a la
garganta,
el mar al que se
hunde.

The Church "One day"
"
Tell me, is everything unplanned?
It's all so unexpected that I just can't understand
We run so hard and always end up in the same place
"Glad that went so smoothly" well that never is the case
One day - doubtless, cloudless, bright
We'll shake away the shadows of eternal night
It's just the storm before the calm
Like the life held in your palm - it's clay, one day
And you stand there, with ashes blowing past
Dipping into gilt-edged love that will be made at last
And the gold you spend and the hastening end
That you throw into the sea
Coming back a hundredfold, there's no guarantee
We'll walk and be like giants, we'll all be honest men
I go back to my blindness so that I may see again
A woman standing on a hill is gazing out to sea
Dreaming of a new age waiting there for me
I call her from a distance and she smiles into the sun
And men and gods begin their dance, for their time has begun
And holy wars extended and battlefields of pain
Washed away, forgotten in the perfect rain
Princes, kings and humble things are well-worn and content
Messengers come everywhere, envoys have been sent
"Na na na na, na na na na na
A palm tree nodded at me last night he said
'Hey you look so pale.' "

The Saints "Photograph"
There is a photograph in a haunted room
filled with memories that have gone too soon
& as I pass by every day
I say why does it make me feel this way...
There is life in the setting of the sun
& you know I think that it should go on
but as it turns around I have to say
Why does it make me feel this way....
Laughing sun & laughing moon
I know they sould be & I want to be to
but as it turns out I have to say
Why does it make me feel this way.....

Richard Hawley "Tonight the streets are ours"
Do you know why you got feelings in your heart
Don't let fear of me then fool you, what you see sets you apart
It's nothing here to bind you, it's no way for life to start
Do you know that tonight the streets are ours
Tonight the street are ours
These lights in our eyes tell no lies
Those people they got nothing in their souls
And they make our tvs blind us from our visions and our goals
Oh the trigger of time it tricks you so you have no way to grow
Do you know that tonight the streets are ours
Tonight the street are ours
These lights in our eyes tell no lies
And no one else can haunt me the way that you can haunt me
I need to know you want me, I couldn't be without you
and the light that shines around you
No nothing ever matter more than my darling
But tonight the street are ours
Do you know how to kill loneliness at last
Oh there's some much there to heel thee???
and make tears things of the past
But tonight the street are ours
Tonight the street are ours
These lights in our street are ours
Tonight the street are ours
These lights in our heart they tell no lies
producir nuestro disco debut: "Mano, parque, paseo"
Pues no

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds "What can I give you?"
">
All my life I failed to see
One good thing standing in front of me
And the planets gravitate around you
And the stars, the stars surround you
And the angels in heaven adore you
And the saints, the saints all stand and applaud you
What can I give you?
What can I give you in return?
The shadow came creeping, a criminal
That you chased, babe, from my life
And sometimes when I'm sleeping I see him shuffle against the night
Oh, he's waiting, yeah he's waiting to return
And each step I take moves me one step below you
And you must do in order to console me
Help me, help me, help me, baby, reach down and collect me
What can I give you?
What can I give you in return?
Galaxies collide; they shower down around you
And I searched, I stumbled and then I found you
In your robe, in your crown, reaching low, babe
Reaching low down to the ground
What can I give you?
What can I give you in return?

XTC "The loving"
">
All around the world, Every boy and every girl, Need the loving. The humble and the great, Even those we think we hate, Need the loving. Soldiers of the queen, All the hard men that we’ve seen, Need the loving. Babies at the breast, Those in power and those suppressed, Need the loving. Let’s face it you just can’t hide, Your first taste’ll send you reeling, Like a firework to which we’re tied, Be prepared to go through your ceiling now. The loving’s coming, The loving’s more than just an ad man’s vision. The loving’s strumming, On your heart strings, So loud that you can’t help but listen. Sailors on the seas, Or the clergy on their knees, Need the loving. All the rich and poor, Even those we fight at war, Need the loving. That thing that we need most of, That stuff we should try before we’ve died. Everyone is begging to be loved, With a free gift, a working heart inside. The loving’s coming, The loving’s advertised in all the papers. The loving’s humming, Your favourite song, For once it won’t annoy the neighbours. The loving, the loving. All round the world, Every boy and every girl, Need the loving. Cold-hearted or warm, Every single person born, Needs the loving. Way out there in space, Think we’ll find that alien race, Needs the loving. And just to end the list, Everything that could exist, Needs the loving. The loving’s coming!
XTC "Senses working overtime"

Hey hey,
the clouds are whey,
there's straw for the donkeys,
and the innocents can all sleep safely,
all sleep safely.
My, my,
sun is pie,
there's fodder for the cannons,
and the guilty ones can all sleep safely,
all sleep safely.
And all the world is football shaped,
it's just for me to kick in space,
and i can see, hear, smell, touch, taste,
and i've got one, two, three, four, five
senses working overtime,
trying to take this all in,
i've got one, two, three, four, five
senses working overtime,
trying to taste the difference,
'tween the lemons and limes,
the pain and the pleasure,
and the church bells softly chime.
Hey hey,
night fights day,
there's food for the thinkers,
and the innocents can all live slowly,
all live slowly,
my, my,
the sky will cry,
jewels for the thirsty,
and the guilty one's can all die slowly
all die slowly.
And all the world is biscuit shaped,
it's just for me to feed my face,
and i can see, hear, smell, touch, taste,

i've got one, two, three, four, five,

the pain and the pleasure,
and the church bells softly chime,
And birds might fall from black skies,
and bullies might give you black eyes,
and busses might skid on black ice,
but to me it's very very beautiful,
(england's glory!)
beautiful
(a striking beauty!)
And all the world is football shaped,
it's just for me to kick in space,
and i can see, hear, smell, touch, taste,
and i've got one, two, three, four, five,
senses working overtime,
trying to take this all in,
i've got one,two,three, four, five
senses working overtime,
trying to tell the difference,
'tween the goods and crimes,
dirt or treasure,
and there's one, two, three, four, five
senses working overtime,
trying to take this all in,
i've got one, two, three, four, five,

And all the world is biscuit shaped,
it's just for me to feed my face,
and i can see, hear, smell, touch, taste,
and i've got one, two, three, four, five,
senses working overtime,
trying to take this all in,
i've got one, two, three, four, five,
senses working overtime,
trying to taste the difference,
'tween the lemons and limes,
the pain and the pleasure,
and the church bells softly chime,
And birds might fall from black skies,
and bullies might give you black eyes,
and busses might skid on black ice,
but to me it's very very beautiful,
(england's glory!)
beautiful
(a striking beauty!)
And all the world is football shaped,
it's just for me to kick in space,
and i can see, hear, smell, touch, taste,
and i've got one, two, three, four, five,
senses working overtime,
trying to take this all in,
i've got one,two,three, four, five
senses working overtime,
trying to tell the difference,
'tween the goods and crimes,
dirt or treasure,
and there's one, two, three, four, five
senses working overtime,
trying to take this all in,
i've got one, two, three, four, five,
senses working overtime,
trying to taste the difference,
'tween the lemons and limes,
the pain and the pleasure,
and the church bells softly chime.

You and me
Are the world
She said
Nothing else is real
The two of us
Is all there is
The rest
Is just a dream
Always meant to be
I can't feel it
Like the destiny
And fate
Written in the stars
Inescapable fate
It's out of my hands
Falling into your arms
And I don't want
To get in a ?
But I would love you
To take your time
We're on the edge
Of a beautiful thing
She said
So come on
Stay here for awhile
Oooooh, girl
He is the one for sure
Oooooh, girl
He is the perfect boy
Yeah
Me and you
Are the world
I said
But not the only one
I need
The two of us
Is never all there is
That doesn't happen
For real
If it was
Meant to be us
It was meant to be now
Don't see
The sense in wasting
(Wasted?) time
If you're so sure
About this ??
Well then tonight
You're mine
And I don't want
To get obvious
But I have to be
Gone by three
We're on the edge
Of a beautiful thing
He said
So come on
Jump with me
Oooooh, girl
He's not the one
For sure
Oooooh, girl
He's not
So wonderful
Oooooh, girl
He's not the one
For sure
Oooooh, girl
He's not
The perfect boy
At all
You and me
Are the world
She said
Nothing else is real
The two of us
Is all there is
The rest
Is just a dream
And her heart
May be broken
A hundred times
But her hope?
We'll never destroy
Her heart?
The happy ever
After girl
Will never find
The perfect boy
You and me

The Waterboys "This is the sea"
"
These things you keep
You'd better throw them away
You wanna turn your back
On your soulless days
Once you were tethered
And now you are free
Once you were tethered
Well now you are free
That was the river
This is the sea!
Now if you're feelin' weary
If you've been alone too long
Maybe you've been suffering from
A few too many
Plans that have gone wrong
And you're trying to remember
How fine your life used to be
Running around banging your drum
Like it's 1973
Well that was the river
This is the sea!
Wooo!
Now you say you've got trouble
You say you've got pain
You say've got nothing left to believe in
Nothing to hold on to
Nothing to trust
Nothing but chains
You've been scouring your conscience
Raking through your memories
Scouring your conscience
Raking through your memories
But that was the river
This is the sea yeah!
Now I can see you wavering
As you try to decide
You've got a war in your head
And it's tearing you up inside
You're trying to make sense
Of something that you just don't see
Trying to make sense now
And you know you once held the key
But that was the river
And this is the sea!
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah!
Now I hear there's a train
It's coming on down the line
It's yours if you hurry
You've got still enough time
And you don't need no ticket
And you don't pay no fee
No you don't need no ticket
You don't pay no fee
Because that was the river
And this is the sea!
Behold the sea!
Esas cosas que guardas
Será mejor que las tires
Quieres darle la espalda
A tu deprimente vida.
Una vez estuvista atado,
y ahora eres libre.
Una vez estuviste atado.
Bien, ahora eres libre.
Aquello era el río.
¡Ésto es el mar!
Ahora, si te sientes cansado.
Si has estado sólo demasiado tiempo,
quizá estuviste sufriendo
por culpa de unos cuantos planes
que te salieron mal.
Y tratas de recordar
cuan buena solía ser tu vida,
corriendo y golpeando tu tambor.
Como en 1973.
Bueno, aquello era el río.
¡Ésto es el mar!
¡Uau!
Estás dándole vueltas a tu conciencia.
Peinando tus recuerdos.
No, no necesitas ticket.
No pagues el pase.
Porque éso era el río.
¡Y ésto es el mar!
¡Contempla el mar!

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds "Straight to you"
">
All the towers of ivory are crumbling
And the swallows have sharpened their beaks
This is the time of our great undoing
This is the time that I'll come running
Straight to you
For I am captured
Straight to you
For I am captured
One more time
The light in our window is fading
The candle gutters on the ledge
Well now sorrow, it comes a-stealing
And I'll cry, girl, but I'll come a-running
Straight to you
For I am captured
Straight to you
For I am captured
Once again
Gone are the days of rainbows
Gone are the nights of swinging from the stars
For the sea will swallow up the mountains
And the sky will throw thunder-bolts and sparks
Straight at you
But I'll come a-running
Straight to you
But I'll come a-running
One more time
Heaven has denied us it's kingdom
The saints are drunk howling at the moon
The chariots of angels are colliding
Well, I'll run, babe, but I'll come running
Straight to you
For I am captured
Straight to you
For I am captured
One more time
All the towers of ivory are crumbling
And the swallows have sharpened their beaks
This is the time of our great undoing
This is the time that I'll come running

¿Mi
corazón se ha dormido?
Colmenares
de mis sueños,
¿ya
no labráis? ¿Está seca
la
noria del pensamiento,
los
cangilones vacíos,
girando,
de sombra llenos?
No,
mi corazón no duerme.
Está
despierto, despierto.
Ni
duerme ni sueña, mira,
los
claros ojos abiertos,
señas
lejanas y escucha
a
orillas del gran silencio.
Antonio
Machado. "Soledades".
The Sound "Judgement"
I can't tell it's now or never
If we don't act now it could be now and forever
The moment is near, the moment of truth
But just what scared the life out of you?
You're so still, silent motionless
I can't watch and wait just to pay the price
Of your judgement
I will push at the powers that be
I will pull you close to me
And if I fall I go gracefully
No regret's, don't pour your pity on me
You're so still, are you so lame?
I can't watch and wait just to take the blame
For your judgement
Can there really be someone up above me
Who judges me when my time is up
I can't believe, I can't believe
That I'm not the one that I should trust
He's so still, silent, motionless
(He never does anything at all)
I can't watch and wait just to pay the price
He's so still, he's silent, motionless
I can't watch and wait just to pay the price
Of his judgement

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds "Lie down here (Be my girl)
Well, you lost a foe
And found yourself a friend
(Lie down here & be my girl)
I'm back now, baby, that man
He won't be coming round here again
(Lie down here & be my girl)
I'm trying to tread careful, baby
You're as brittle as the wishbone of a bird
(Lie down here & be my girl)
We've been scribbled in the margins of a story
That's patently absurd
(Lie down here & be my girl)
And let it all come down tonight
We can shine, shine
Let it all come down
(Be my girl, be my girl)
It's a matter of some urgency, oh darling, can't you see
I can't hold back the tide
(Lie down here & be my girl)
And stop your frantic little fingers trying to collect the years
That pour from the hole in my side
(Lie down here & be my girl)
Oh, don't worry, baby, this old snake banging on your door
Has got a few skins left to shed
(Lie down here & be my girl)
Oh, you look so good, you look so good
The rest is better left unsaid
(Lie down here & be my girl)
And let it all come down tonight
And shine, oh, we can shine
Let it all come down
Tonight
(Be my girl, yeah, be my girl)
You look so good, you look so good
One day I'll buy a factory
And assemble you on a production line
(Lie down here & be my girl)
I'd buy a million of you, baby
And every single one of them will be mine
(Lie down here & be my girl)
I will fill the house with you, stack you up in every room
We'll have a real good time
(Lie down here & be my girl)
But right now, I'm sitting here on my own
Going out of my mind
(Lie down here & be my girl)
And let it all come down tonight
And shine, oh, we can shine
Let it all come down
Tonight
You look so good, you look so good
¡Victoria (con todas las letras)!
LEYENDA
Victoria, victoria, victoria.
