Diagonale des Yeux hoy en Oviedo

El grupo francés Diagonale de Yeux actúa hoy, 3 de octubre, en Oviedo en el festival LUBA 5.0, a partir de las 21 h. en Kuivi Almacenes.

 

Morphine "Cocoon"

Morphine es una de mis bandas favoritas desde siempre. A raíz de la muerte de Mark Sandman (1952-1999), publiqué un extenso dossier sobre su obra en la revista Ruta 66, de los primeros en los que se hacía un balance de toda su discografía, si no el primero.

Como se contaba en el excelente documental de Rob Gordon Galver y David Ferino Cure for pain: The Mark Sandman story (2011), había multitud de grabaciones registradas por el líder del trío inéditas. O eso se afirmaba allí. Ahora, parece que eso se transforma en una realidad con la publicación -prevista para el 4 de diciembre de 2026 a través de Partisan Records- de Cocoon, un álbum de ocho canciones, construido con las sesiones que abandonó Sandman un año y medio antes de morir sobre un escenario en el festival Nel Nome del Rock en Palestrina (Italia). El avance es este vídeo-clip titulado Cocoon:
